schoffman, my figure drawing teacher, talkedranted about design a few weeks ago.
he showed us another perspective on design.
he said that all "good designers" should take up "form follows function" as their professional motto. (for those of you who don't know, that's also the motto and principle of the Bauhaus movement.)
he's right and it's true but i think now designers must consider a product's afterlife and its disposal too.
below is a handy dandy chart for the new design process.
uh... i had a half-baked entry but now i have forgotten it...
damn. oh well, the chart is interesting enough itself.
